How DragonTiger.gg Verifies What It Publishes

Most Dragon Tiger websites copy their numbers from one another. We built this site in September 2026 around a different rule: every figure is either computed by us or traced to a primary source, and anything we cannot verify is flagged or left out.

The Sourcing Rule

For every number, claim or feature we publish, we require one of the following:

• Our own computation. Probabilities, house edges, standard deviations and expected losses on our odds page are derived by exact enumeration of every possible deal from a fresh eight-deck shoe under the standard drawing rules. They are not estimates and not copied from anywhere.
• A regulator. Macau's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), the Nevada Gaming Control Board, the UAE's GCGRA, and comparable bodies for market data and licensing.
• The operator itself. A casino's own help center, terms, promotion pages or game lobby for anything we say about that casino – bonuses, minimum deposits, table limits, restricted countries, which games it carries.
• The game studio itself. Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Live88 and other studios' product pages or press releases for what a game variant is and who makes it.
• Company filings and earnings calls for operator financial results.

We treat reputable trade press as a pointer to a primary source, not as a source in itself. We do not use other affiliate or review websites as sources for any figure, and we do not repeat a number because it is widely circulated.

What the Rule Cost Us at Launch

Applying the rule to a new site meant leaving out things every competing page includes. We do not state where or when Dragon Tiger was invented, because no regulator, operator or academic source records it; the widely repeated Cambodia origin traces to a 2012 remark that the game was "rumored" to be found there, and we say so on our history page. We publish no house edge for Lightning Dragon Tiger, because Evolution does not publish the multiplier table needed to compute one. Where a studio does not state whether a tie costs half the stake or all of it, we show both edges rather than guess. And we excluded several large casino brands from our comparison because their lobbies, when we checked them, do not carry the game.

What we could establish about the game's history, we date and source: the earliest dated analysis (2012), Evolution's own announcement (its Year-End Report 2017), the regulator approvals since, and the land-based rooms that publish rules. We searched gaming-studies and Southeast Asian studies literature, regulator game lists and operator filings for anything earlier and found nothing; if you know of a primary source we missed, please write.

How We Handle What We Can't Verify

• If a casino does not publish a figure, we write "not published" rather than fill the gap.
• If a claim rests on secondary reporting – an analyst's account, a trade-press summary – we attribute it to that source in the text rather than stating it as fact.
• Every news article ends with a Sources list and an Editor's note naming what could not be independently confirmed.
• Whether a casino accepts US players is taken from that operator's own terms or restricted-jurisdiction page, and we say "some states" rather than list states when the operator's own documents disagree with each other.

Affiliate Links

DragonTiger.gg earns a commission when a reader signs up at a casino through our links. Those links are marked rel="sponsored" and identified as affiliate links wherever they appear. Commissions do not change what we publish: a casino's description, features and US-player status are written from its own pages before any link is added, and we list only casinos whose own lobby shows a Dragon Tiger table, not because of what they paid. One listing, Play971 in the UAE, carries no affiliate link at all: we include it because it is the first licensed online casino in that market and deals the game, and we say on its card that the listing is unpaid.
